D4B Today at Highlite: sharing knowledge and learning from practice

For this edition of D4B Today, we were guests at our customer Highlite in Kerkrade. It was a great opportunity to combine our internal knowledge-sharing day with a behind-the-scenes look at an organization where technology and automation play a key role.

New developments within Microsoft

During our D4B-Today sessions, we regularly update our employees on the latest developments within Microsoft Business Applications, Power Platform, and AI. This is how we ensure our knowledge stays up to date and we can translate new opportunities into our clients' daily operations.

At Highlite, this edition took on an extra dimension. Not only did we share knowledge internally, but we were also able to see firsthand how technology is applied in practice.

A look behind the scenes at Highlite

During a tour of the company, we saw how Highlite uses its Microsoft Dynamics solution every day to support purchasing, sales, finance, and logistics processes from its own warehouse.

The environment is also constantly evolving. Highlite is currently migrating to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, taking the next step in the continued modernization of its business operations.

We also received a demonstration of Highlite's products and technology and took an extensive look at the logistics operation and automation in the warehouse.

Sharing knowledge works both ways

Conversely, we included Highlite in our approach to AI, our practical experiences with Microsoft Copilot, and the latest capabilities within Copilot and Copilot Studio. Together, we look at ways to deploy AI increasingly smarter and more efficiently in daily practice.

It was precisely that interaction that made this D4B-Today special: sharing knowledge, learning from each other, and directly connecting to practice.

We thank Highlite for their hospitality and in particular Ruud Segers, Remco van den Elzen, and Patrick Herveille for their contribution to this successful day.
